The Freedom Parade for 2024, means officers will be carrying weapons. The parade will troop into the Market Place where they will form up outside the Town Hall and an inspection will be made.
Guests will then go into St Mary Magdalene for the church service, following which the parade will form up and there will be a march past with a salute from the dais on the way back to London Road Car Park.
Any veterans who wish to join the parade should be at London Road Car Park by 10.30am on the 8th September.
